Law and Procedure
In a representative government, government offices are a public trust. This means that all government officials are bound by oath to perform their official duties for the people they represent. This includes all courts and judges. Federal Rules Of Civil Procedure is one the references used to create a uniformed process of performance of all officials. Not following these rules is a violation of their office and oaths.
